Using Your VolCard

You can use your VolCard at the following locations.

Aquatic Center

The Aquatic Center offers year-round recreation for all students. Outdoor facilities include an Olympic-size swimming pool with diving well, a water polo court, a large deck area for sunbathing, sand volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball goals, a 400-meter track, and synthetic surface playing field. Indoor facilities include an Olympic-size swimming pool with a diving well and complete locker and shower facilities. The lower lobby has reading and snack areas. The upper lobby houses a complete fitness center and a conference/meeting room. A valid VolCard credential for students and SAC membership for staff/faculty is required to use this facility.

Libraries

A VolCard allows you to check out books and use copiers in the campus libraries.

Vol Dining Facilities

Allows usage in all Vol Dining Services facilities based on the type of meal plan account you have chosen. Also allows usage at participating off-campus merchants using your VolCard account.

Local Shops

Allows purchase of goods and services from participating off-campus merchants using your VolCard account.

Neyland Stadium & Thompson-Boling Arena

Use funds on your VolCard Account at Concession Stands during home games.

Recreation Facilities

The Office of RecSports coordinates recreation activities for students in the following facilities: the Aquatic Center, the HPER Building, Stokley Athletics Center and the “Bubble.” Programs offered by RecSports include sports clubs, aquatic programs, informal recreation, fitness, outdoor recreation, and intramurals. A valid VolCard credential for students and SAC membership for staff/faculty is required for participation in all programs and facilities.

Student Health Clinic

The Student Health Clinic provides outpatient medical care for all currently enrolled students who have paid the Health Fee each semester, either through payment of the full Programs and Services Fee or optional payment of the Health Fee (for those taking three to eight hours). Ticket Offices

After payment of the full-time Programs and Services Fee, you can use your VolCard credential to pick-up/purchase tickets at the Central Ticket Office for various campus events such as, concerts, cultural events, and many other events held in the community. The VolCard also provides discounts at the Clarence Brown Theatre Box Office for the professional company’s season and is used to access athletic events.

University Housing

Your VolCard allows access into your assigned housing complex.

Ucopy

Use funds in your VolCard account to pay for services provided at the Service Station in Greve Hall. The Service Station provides copy services, faxing, and locker rental. Copy services provided by the Service Station include use of copy machines, lettering and artwork layout, enlargement and reduction of originals, and foldering.

Student Union and VolShop/VolTech

Use funds in your VolCard account to purchase books and supplies in the VolShop located in the Student Union.

Vending Machines

Use funds in your VolCard account to make purchases from campus vending machines.
